Syracuse: Ortigia Sea Caves Excursion by Boat - Swim & Fortress Views

Notre activité a été décalée de 1h pour des raisons logistiques. Nous avons pu finalement avoir une 1h de plus de visite pour le même prix. Nous avons eu une tempête pendant l’activité mais le capitaine connaissait parfaitement son bateau et à aucun moment nous nous sommes senti en danger. C’était une chouette expérience. Je recommande vivement cette activité

L'abilità e la compostezza del capitano che senza sgomitare e impennare come altri (credo) concorrenti ci ha fatto esplorare tutte le calette e le grotte e la baia fino alla riserva naturale e al Castello. Niente chiacchiere pseudo mitologiche ma racconti veri della storia di Siracusa e della sua evoluzione. Un semplice traduttore vocale e tutti gli stranieri a bordo hanno potuto seguire la magia della sua narrazione mentre gli occhi si riempivano di meraviglia ai colori del mare, del cielo, della roccia e del corallo rosso. Due bagni in mare, un brindisi al Prosecco (buonissimo! ci siamo segnati il nome...) e il tour di due ore è finito. Grazie alla receptionist e grazie alla nostra guida: non dimenticheremo Siracusa fatata e la Dolphin Excursion and Rental!

It was nice to see the city from the outside. However we were disappointed with: 1) the tour lasted 50 min instead of 60; 2) the ticket reservation and billboard at the check-in mentioned the boat would stop for swimming which did not happen; 3) tbe guide used a translator app to communicate with us but there were many translation errors that made it very difficult to understand (some explanations were impossible) and 4) when we left the boat we complained about not having stopped for a swim and the tour guides told us that we needed to ask for it which did not make sense because we would not have guesses that should be the case. we explained that they should have informed us or asked instead of expecting we would know and the guide blamed us, was dismissive of our complain and even rude. There are many other companies making this tour. We would recommend you choose another one.

Die Bootsfahrt an sich war super, man konnte wie angegeben sich flexibel auf dem kleinen Boot hinsetzen wo man wollte und auch aufstehen, wenn man z.B. in eine der kleinen Höhlen gefahren ist. Ganz zu Beginn der Fahrt mussten sich alle stark ducken, da das Boot unter eine sehr, und ich meine wirklich seeeehr, niedrige Brücke drunter musste. Also für Menschen mit Platzangst vielleicht nichts, ansonsten war es ein kleines Abenteuer ;) Leider konnte unser Captain nur Italienisch. Er hat zwar mit einem Übersetzer seine Worte auf Englisch über die Lautsprecher ausgegeben, allerdings war die Übersetzung nicht immer ganz sinnig und man musste sich viel zusammenreimen, da man natürlich auch keine Gegenfragen stellen konnte. Also leider etwas starr. Die Musikalische Begleitung war ganz lustig. Der Grund weshalb ich nur drei Sterne gebe, ist dass (obwohl als inbegriffen angegeben) es kein Wasser und auch keinen Badestopp gab. Dabei hatten wir noch Zeit und auch die Wetterbedingungen stimmten.
