Sorrento Lemon Tour: guided visit to an IGP lemon grove

This is an absolute hidden gem. We wanted to tour a lemon grove while in Sorrento, but we did not have a car, and all the tours that included transportation were a bit pricey and lasted all day. We found this tour and it was perfect for what we wanted. Not a large grove that spans several acres of countryside, but for the price it's well worth it. Located right downtown, so you can walk to it from most hotels, and has 600 trees Our guide was friendly and took time to explain everything to us. After the tour we sampled cheeses, marmalades, oil, etc which were all delicious. (we did not purchase the lunch option) The whole event, including the tasting lasted an hour. Given the location and duration of the tour, it is a great way to spend a part of a day. at a very affordable price

This tour was exactly what I hoped for! Walking beneath a beautiful canopy of lemon trees, with lemons and tangerines hanging all around us, felt so dreamy—just like everything else in Sorrento. Our guide, Rosa, was wonderful! She was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and made the entire tour interactive and enjoyable. She taught us about the history of the lemon farm, showed us the process of making limoncello, and explained the best times of year to visit if you want to see the trees full of lemons and oranges—April and May. The food was also amazing! We enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, ending with the perfect Sorrento-style dessert: refreshing lemon sorbet, limoncello, and lemon cream. 🍋 Such a beautiful and authentic experience. If you love lemons—or simply want to experience another charming side of Sorrento beyond the beaches and coastline—I highly recommend this tour. It was everything I imagined a Sorrento lemon farm experience would be!
