Venice: Private Murano & Burano Boat Tour with Hotel Pickup

We took this guided tour with Federico who was excellent- very friendly, on time, and knowledgeable. He was very patient and courteous of my elderly parents who needed support getting in and out of the boat and we felt he tailored the tour to our pace without missing any of the key sites. The tour itself is a perfect amount of time to see Murano and Burano. The boats used are very comfortable and makes it feel very relaxed getting away from the crowds of Venice and vaporettos. Would recommend, it’s worth the money to have the personal touch to ask all the questions with a guides undivided attention.

This was a fantastic tour!! Giulia was our guide and she was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgable and gave us a lot of interesting information on the whole area. We loved Murano and Burano. One of our guests accidentally left their phone on the boat and Giulia was very diligent at helping us track it down and get it back. Messaging us all afternoon, well after her tour with us was over. I would highly recommend Giulia for any tour in Venice!!! 5+++ star service!!

Our guide was lovely, he was very informative, as a local he was packed full of little gems of knowledge. He was happy to share his favourite places. Burano was absolutely lovely, The colourful quirky houses are delightful, as are the local people. We will definitely go back there but give it the whole day. We visited Murano and watched an artist at work making the glass. Our guide realised at the end of the tour, that there was a boat festival on, so some of the waters would be closed before he could get back out. This meant we were unable to be dropped back to our hotel, so we ended up with quite a walk which messed with our plans for later that day. But.... this is Venice, so no hardship really, new things to discover down every narrow street and surprises around every corner. So all in all a good day.

Wir fuhren zunächst zur Insel Murano in eine Glasbläserei. Sehr interessant, aber viel zu lang. Insgesamt. 20 - 30 Minuten wären dort völlig ausreichend gewesen. Burano ist sehr malerisch und nett. Hier hätten wir uns hier mehr Zeit zum Bummeln gewünscht. Unsere Reiseleiterin war extrem engagiert und wollte uns maximal viel Info geben. Allerdings konnten die meisten von uns hier aufgrund der Geschwindigkeit und Masse der Wörter nicht mehr folgen. Alles, in allem ein schöner Ausflug mit Optimierungsbedarf
