Exclusive Rome by Night: Golf Cart, Italian Dinner & Gelato

After a long day in the sun walking the beautiful streets of Rome it was a relief to sit in a Golf cart while seeing the sites with a lovely young man, Lorenzo. He was very knowledgeable, an excellent driver, confident and wet above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The food was also really good and we're Foodies. Thanks again Lorenzo!

Lorenzo was an excellent guide. Very friendly and clearly knowledgeable. He was a delight. Dinner was excellent. Pizza was the better choice over the pasta but glad we got to share both. My only disappointment was not seeing the Pantheon or the Spanish Steps which were listed in the tour guide. And that there was not enough time to throw coins in Trevi fountain. Will have to squeeze that in on our remaining days. Thank you for making our first night in Rome so special.

What a way to kick off our time in Rome. If you are looking for an excellent tour this is it. Stefano was a fantastic guide. We could not have asked for a better evening. We visited all of the major sites. Evening makes it that much more special. The food was excellent. My daughter and I had the pizza and pasta and shared family style. Our tour mates were great. We had the pleasure of having 4 countries represented at dinner. The US, England, Australia and Italy. It was an amazing chance to meet and hear of others homes, careers and how they live daily life. A great way to start of our trip.

Our guide, Beatrice, was exceptional. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the history, the culture, the society of ancient Rome, and current Rome, she was extremely personable and interactive with us all on the tour. She was curious about our cultures because people in the tour were from different countries. Dinner conversation flowed easily, and we laughed and learned throughout the entire tour. This was definitely a highlight of my stay in Rome. I cannot recommend her or this excursion highly enough.

Beatrice was quite pleasant but we were stuck in back seat. Difficult to hear her and very poor visibility for a man that is 6’2. My husband had to reproduce down to try to see. “To your left it to your right…”. Could not see Meal was not a good value. Pasta or pizza was 13e Shared bruschetta 8 e so 2 e each Soda 2-3e Gelato5-6e. Meal and dessert about 25 e each. Tour was not worth the high cost of 165e each Golf cart in rear seat not comfortable at all. Other golf carts used for tours had deep comfortable seating vs riding backwards on a bench seat. Worst tour in our 3 weeks of travel. Very disappointed
