Rome: Colosseum Arena Floor, Forum & Palatine Guided Tour

Guiden var total overfladisk og uengageret. Vi var en lille gruppe på ca. 12 deltagere. På den time turen varede brugte hun 20 minutter i udstillingen inden for om Troja I steder for at vise Colosseum frem og fortælle om det. Ikke en gang spurgte hun om der var nogle som havde spørgsmål, men talte om de boliger som lå udenfor. Det var en rigtig dårlig oplevelse og total spild af penge - vi havde købt turen med adgang til Arenaen.

We did only the Colosseum express tour. It was 1 hour. Leading up to the tour I had many messages from the team confirming the date and time, asking if I had any queries about the tour and especially making sure we brought our passports on the day for ID requirements at the Colosseum. A couple of times I messaged with questions and I received a reply within a day or so (im in Australia and they are in Italy). On the day the staff we met at the meeting point and who took us to the colosseum to meet the tour and our guide Massimo were all lovely. Highly recommend!!

What a great tour. Our guide was an archeologist who had actually worked on Palatine Hill. We weren’t expecting to enjoy that part of the tour so much. Walking through the Colosseum was like magic. We learned so much and even though the entire area was packed with people, our tour seemed quite intimate. There was a little chaos at check in at the beginning but once we got started it was fabulous.

The tour was fantastic. The other people who were supposed to be part of the tour did not show up so it ended up being a private tour for us. Our host was superb! Our group found her to be very knowledgeable, charming and genuinely passionate with the whole experience. This is our first time in Italy and to see the Colosseum in person...there are no words to describe it.

El tour esta buenísimo, la guía sabia muchas cosas interesantes. Precio beneficio bien, nos llevan al foro, palatino y coliseo.. nosotros tomamos el paquete que incluía arena y estuvo bien solo es muy poco tiempo lo que estas ahí. Lo único por lo que quite una estrella es porque me cambiaron el horario yo lo tenia 9:45am y me lo movieron a las 12:30pm lo cual en verano estuvo terrible el sol, de ahí en mas todo bien!

This tour allows exclusive access to the arena and that’s it. No tiers. Not what I expected and disappointed. The guide Paula was late for the tour by 15 minutes but very knowledgeable. The arena will give you an appreciation of the underground closer but not much else to offer The Roman forum and Palestine was rushed which meant if you took your time to take a photo or two you would lose the audio from your guide due to distance.
