Lucca Tour & Pisa Tower + Wine Tasting by Van from Livorno

The wine tasting part of the tour was great. The Lucca part may have been better if it wasn’t pouring rain. The driver kinda told us where to walk but directions were poor. He did not describe anything we were seeing on the way to Lucca or back from wine tasting. PISA we did on our own which was fine. It had stopped raining so we were able to take pictures.

Raffaele was excellent, very informative and knowledgeable. Living in old Lucca he was able to share more about the history, culture and the surrounding area. The winery was a beautiful old school family run winery like the past generations, not to make money but to carry on the tradition of wine making. We enjoyed the food and wine tasting very much along with 3 other couples, the perfect size. This was money well spent, it was the best most relaxed excursion of our 10 day cruise.
