Pompeii: Skip-the-Line Entry with Audioguide & Villa of the Mysteries

Experience was not worth the money, you just go to an office somewhat near the entrance where they demand you leave your original passport not a photo copy to obtain a little audio transmitter so we didn’t do that. Then you get your ticket. It’s not skip the line it just means you don’t have to buy your ticket at the gate you get it given to you and you still line up to enter. Defiantly over priced

I'll visit Pompeii again but definitely never use this offer again. I recently advised my friends against this travel agency! Such incompetence. It was hot, one person in our group had mobility issues, and we paid for SKIP-THE-LINE entry. Offer clearly states 'Meeting Point - Go to IBT Center/Touristation next to Chalet Donna Lucia' But elderly woman with obvious dementia tried to convince us that we couldn't read, suggesting we misunderstood or didn't know the language! She didn't even check the list where we were listed. Scandalous behavior with a silly grin she told us to go to the ticket office even though we had tickets on our phones and printed! We stood in two lines and at the info point and were not let in anywhere. We wandered up and down several times in that heat! We lost a lot of time which resulted in us getting caught in a storm and huge downpour, making us miss our train. I travel a lot but to be served by such incompetent and sloppy people in such a place, embarrassing!

Fue una sopresa muy desagradable: 1. Primero por tener que localizar la agencia, que no está bien señalizada y queda a desmano del acceso a las excavaciones. 2. Porque pretendían que depositase mi documento de identidad (con los riesgos que ello conlleva) ó 100€ hasta que devolviese la "audioguía". 3. La "audioguía" era un artefacto muy simple y anticuado revestido de una funda kitsch y grasienta, que no proporcionaba más información que la de cualquier cartela de las situadas en los lugares a visitar. 4. Ante mi negativa a depositar mi documento de identidad, salió una presunta jefa con aspecto de profesora anticuada y autoritaria que pretendió intimidarme de una forma intolerable. Todo muy lamentable y cutre. Dan muy mala imagen a su país. Y lo peor de todo, hacen perder el tiempo y arruinan la experiencia.
