Pompeii Guided Tour with Archaeologist: Discover Ancient Ruins

Excellent tour. Some difficulty finding guide - found at superior gate ,go left and uphill on arrival away from stalls etc. Directions from app took us in other direction. Tour was a mix of Italian & English ,Guide was brilliant switching from one to other but it did mean that twice as long was spent at each artifact to explain in both languages, which slowed down the tour and meant more time standing in heat but still very enjoyable

Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the site, the history, the excavation and restoration processes as well as how to best help us go through different areas of Pompei. She was articulate and engaging and we enjoyed the time we spent with her. So much better than an audio guide and well worth the money spent. Highly recommend.
