Full-Day Verona Tour from Lake Garda

The tour was exactly as described when booking. We were met by Anna who went through the itinerary and was very clear about the activity and what we could expect. Our guide for the one hour tour Bernadetta was so knowledgeable and passionate about her city and its history and we Lear Ed do much we will absolutely be voting back for a further visit. Could not fault anything. Would highly recommend.

Pick up fine. The ‘ guide on the bus’ did not give confidence. As a native German speaker I was surprised her English was not good compared to other German people I have met. This caused a bit of confusion while she explained the plan for the day. Having been on other Get your guide tours I was expecting the tour to start on the coach. This was not so. We had free time for about 2 hours before our ’ guided tour’ which lasted about an hour and a half. The guide was competent and gave us some good facts about Verona. We than had another 2 hours before our meeting back to get on the coach It was an extremely hot day and I felt drained with little shade available other than in shops or cafes. All in all I enjoyed Verona but slightly disappointed in tour in general

We were picked up on time , our guide was Fredrick who was very knowledgeable and interesting giving us the history of verona while we made our journey to the city . Once there we were showed our meeting point and given some free time before our city tour . The tour guide was very informative of the history of the city, the tour lasted about 45 minutes. After the tour we were given more free time which was about an hour and a half . For a taster of Verona the trip was very good

Es war ein rundum perfekter Tag. Die Stadtführung war informativ und wurde vom Stadtführer unterhaltsam rübergebracht. Wir hatten ausreichend Freizeit, sodass man auch auf eigene Faust etwas unternehmen konnte. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus war gut. Der Reiseleiter im Bus hat viele Informationen während der Fahrt gegeben. Ich habe den Tag genossen.

Der Guide war in Ordnung, die Busfahrt war in Ordnung, das Problem ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wenn man als Familie fährt. Für 270 € ist es einfach zu viel, um vom Gardasee aus nach Verona zu fahren. Ein paar nette Informationen während der der Busfahrt. Dann eine einstündige interessante Führung. Das war’s. Bei dem Kurs sollte eigentlich auch wenigstens der Eintritt in die Arena enthalten sein. Zumal die Fahrt mit dem Auto anderthalb Stunden gedauert hätte und mit dem Bus 3 Stunden, da natürlich überall Gäste eingesammelt wurden. Also, alleine oder als Pärchen empfehlenswert, als Familie mit Auto keine gute Idee.

I joined the Verona trip in mid-August, and both Anna and Benedetta were amazing guides. Anna shared many interesting details about the area around Verona, including notable buildings just outside the city centre. She also organized the schedule very well, provided clear information about meeting points, recommended activities, and gave us useful restaurant tips. Benedetta led an excellent two-hour walking tour through Verona’s old town. She brought the city’s history to life by explaining its different historical periods and the architectural landmarks each one left behind. We also had about two hours of free time to shop and explore independently. I recommend visiting the Arena di Verona and stopping by the Benetton store. For a more relaxed meal, consider choosing a restaurant slightly outside the busiest central area—for example, Tosca Café Verona—as many restaurants in the city centre were very crowded. Overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable trip.
