From Verona: Day Tour to the Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona

We had an amazing experience with Alessandro on the Madonna della Corona tour. We were especially thankful that he didn’t cancel the tour even though it ended up being just me & my spouse, despite the tour normally requiring a larger group. He was punctual, the meeting point was easy to find, and he was incredibly knowledgeable. Along the way, he shared interesting information not only about the sanctuary but also about the surrounding towns and Verona, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. The tour never felt rushed. He gave us plenty of time to explore the church, take photos, and even let us choose our preferred walking route. Lunch at Albergo Speranza was excellent! Every course, from the appetizer to dessert, was delicious. As a thoughtful bonus, Alessandro even dropped us off close to our hotel. His friendliness, professionalism, and passion for the area made this one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!

What a deeply meaningful day we had visiting Madonna di Corona. This had been a lifelong dream of mine, and finally standing there was an unforgettable experience. Alessandro made the day even more special with his passion, knowledge, and engaging stories that brought the history and spiritual significance of this remarkable place to life. What truly set him apart was his kindness. He graciously picked us up from the train station and returned us afterward, to ensure our day was smooth and enjoyable. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the quaint town of Spiazzi. Sharing a meal with our group, listening to their stories, felt like a warm Sunday dinner—acquaintances, became friends. One of the most memorable moments came as we reached the top of the mountain and heard the church service. The surrounding mountains created spectacular natural acoustics, and the voices rising through the valley were simply breathtaking. This was far more than a tour - memories that I will cherish forever.

A tour foi incrível. O guia, super atencioso, recebeu-nos super bem e, pelo caminho, contou-nos parte da histórica da cidade. Chegados lá, foi fenomenal vermos a natureza no seu esplendor. Mais uma vez, super atencioso, o guia deu-nos tempo para apreciar aquela paisagem maravilhosa. O dia estava muito ventoso e com um frio um bocadinho desagradável. O nosso guia disponibilizou-nos capas de chuva que resolveram imediatamente esse desconforto. Madonna della Corona é de cortar a respiração e a história é linda. Terminada a visita, fomos almoçar a um restaurante maravilhoso. As entradas eram excelentes, comemos uma lasanha maravilhosa, um vinho de sonho e terminamos com sobremesas maravilhosas. Obrigada ao guia pelo cuidado e atenção que teve connosco do início ao fim. Vale muito a pena fazer esta excursão!
