Once known for it's sporting events that took place in the stadium, it is now admired for the stunning trio of fountains and the charming houses that border the square. You can't miss Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers in the centre of the piazza with the Egyptian Obelisk standing atop.

   The field of flowers is the exact translation of Campo de' Fiori because it was once just that. In 1456 it was paved and public executions took place. Today it is a vibrant market during the day where you can find fruit, vegetables and flowers.
