   This important square is overlooked by palazzo Piovini and palazzo Porto, a Palladian style building. The square also features a monument to Garibaldi.

   Cattedrale di Santa Maria Annunciata (Duomo di Vicenza)

   Pass by

   The Cattedrale of Santa Maria Annunciata is located in Piazza Duomo and its most remarkable feature is the dome, designed by Andrea Palladio, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Stop outside the church and see its Gothic facade made with Verona stone.

   Piazza Dei Signori

   Once the Forum of "Vicetia", as well as the market square since the Middle Ages, Piazza dei Signori is the beating heart of Vicenza. Its most prominent features are the Basilica Palladiana, the Bissara Tower and the two columns dating back to the 15th and 17th century respectively.

   Follow our guide through inside the Basilica Palladiana, the most famous landmark in Vicenza. Designed by Andrea Palladio, it is a National Monument and UNESCO World Heritage site.

   Piazza delle Erbe is a smaller, albeit vibrant square next to the Basilica Palladiana. It is filled with restaurants and cafes where the locals like to gather, and it is overlooked by the Torre del Tormento. This is the ending point of our tour.
