Guided Tour of Venice's Synagogues in the Jewish Ghetto

Tour was excellent. The guide Elena combined beautifully between history, community folklore and personal flavor throughout the tour.

Our guide was personable and knowledgeable, a native of the Venice who knows its Jewish community and history. We went inside two synagogues and walked through the Ghetto. We learned much about the different Jewish groups that came to Venice, why Venice wanted them to come, their successes and the hardships that they endured.

Our guide was fantastic. We learned so much about Jewish life in Venice. I highly recommend this tour if you love Jewish heritage or want to learn more.

The tour was fantastic! Our guide was extremely knowledgable, nice, fun, and made the experience very special. Our kids, ages 9 and 14 enjoyed the tour as well and learned a lot.

The tour guide was beyond wonderful. Her family has lived in Venice since the 400s. She possessed unique stories and history we couldn’t get anywhere else. And she was sweet as can be. Highly recommended.
