Steep climb up, but beautiful views

The visit to Castello di Vezio was amazing! Getting there from Varenna was a definitely a good workout. Expect a long uphill hike. The view on top of the Castello is so worth it! Getting tickets on here was a breeze!

Schöne Ruine, welche man in ein paar Schritten vom kostenlosen Parkplatz gut erreichen kann. Tolle Aussicht auf den See und rundum sehr gut gepflegt, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Amazing so worth the walk!

Fabulous tourist attraction, well worth the steep walk up. The grounds of the castle are beautiful and there is so much to see. I loved all the sculpture work dotted around the gardens, and the views from the turrets were stunning.

It was fine. The landscape was beautiful but the walk was brutal. It would be lovely if there was some kind of public transit up the hill.

30 minutes walking up a steep, rocky hill — but worth the view!

A nice little hike to the castle

Very challenging hike starting from near Varenna train station but much gentler trail on the way down near villa monstero. Breathtaking view. Worth the effort. Glad I still can do it at 77 years old. Highly recommended

Castle and gardens around are breathtaking,worth every penc. Really reccomend to visit. Just wow. Of course, 20min walk into hill was chalenge but worth it. Love it🥰☺️👍

La visite et la vue étaient parfaites ! L'aménagement / scénographie du château et jardins sans oublier les caves est très apprécié, notre groupe de 6 personnes a fortement apprécié
