Lake Como: Rent a Boat Without a License

Le bateau était magnifique, en bois. La famille qui nous a loué le bateau était super il nous ont bien expliqué comment manœuvrer en détail. Et nous on suivit au début pour nous aiguiller sur les bons chemins à prendre. On a pu trouver différentes villas grâce à leur petit guide. Et évidemment le paysage était splendide. Je recommande à 100%.

Génial ! Pouvoir se balader librement dans son bateau est vraiment super. Notre guide, Alessandro, était très gentil et nous a très bien expliqué tout le fonctionnement et les mesures de sécurité. Quand le guide a fait un petit tour avec nous pour nous donner les infos, il descend et à nous la liberté ! Le bateau est extrêmement simple à manœuvrer. Une heure passe vraiment vite, prévoir au moins deux pour ne pas se presser. On peut s’éloigner un peu du port pour se baigner au milieu du lac, les bateaux ont des gilets de sauvetage pour la baignade. L’arrivée sur l’embarcadère parait chaotique mais la compagnie vous contacte sur WhatsApp et tout est finalement bien organisé ! Je recommande absolument !

Ho trascorso una giornata meravigliosa grazie a questa esperienza di noleggio! La proprietaria è una donna davvero solare, gentile, molto piacevole e accogliente. Fin dal primo momento mi sono sentito subito a mio agio. Era tutto impeccabile: la barca era pulita, ben tenuta e molto ben attrezzata, con anche un frigorifero a disposizione, cosa che ho apprezzato davvero tanto. Le spiegazioni che mi ha dato erano molto chiare e mi hanno permesso di godermi pienamente la giornata in tutta tranquillità. La consiglio vivamente, senza alcuna esitazione! Ho apprezzato tantissimo la sua professionalità, la sua gentilezza e la sua disponibilità. Non posso che dire cose positive e non esiterei a rivolgermi nuovamente a lei. Un’esperienza davvero fantastica, che consiglio a tutti!

Le guide a pris contact avant le rendez-vous pour préparer le contrat. Les explications étaient claires. Le rendez-vous et le départ du port est un peu compliqué vu le nombre de bateaux et l’unique ponton. En une heure, nous avons eu le temps de nous éloigner un peu, de faire un plouf et de rentrer. Nous aurions dû prendre 2h. Très sympathique expérience.

Superbe activité à faire en famille ou entre amis sur le lac de Côme. La location ne nécessite pas d’avoir le permis bateau, le guide explique en condition réelle comment naviguer le bateau et ce qu’il faut retenir de la conduite etc car il ne participe pas ensuite à l’activité. Il faut quand même quelqu’un de confiant au volant de ce bateau :) Guide par ailleurs très agréable, très bonne communication, nous a contactés par whatsapp pour confirmer l’activité . Prévoir 50€ d’extra pour l’essence, mais le prix pour le groupe est très avantageux quand même par rapport à l’achat de billets individuels. Nous recommandons fortement cette activité !

Good boat but that was about it. We felt scammed to be asked 50€ more for gas. True that it was indicated in the description but not include in the overall price is scammy, especially to people that look for the cheapest thing out there (student life in this economy). When asked if we could cancel once we understood that, there said no and said if we wanted the boat to leave we have to pay. Overall the people had 0 patience and 0 smile and welcoming vibes. Do not recommend

Es hat super Spaß gemacht, mit dem Boot auf dem Comer See zu fahren! Das Boot war super, wir erhielten eine kurze Einweisung und konnten gleich losfahren. Allerdings ist der Preis pro Stunde ehrlich gesagt nicht angemessen. als unverschämte Abzocke empfand ich, dass wir zusätzlich zur Miete 50€ in bar für Benzin zahlen mussten. Trotz dieses Beigeschmacks hatten wir ein tolles Erlebnis.

Cute little boat, beautiful location but our boat came late, we had to pay 50€ extra for the fuel (written in very small print on the booking page), the whole organisation felt completely chaotic. The contract was made in a rush on the boat, we were shown 2min how to drive it because the guy was stressed (again he was the one late not us). We were told to bring the boat earlier back because we "missed our slot" (we were waiting 10min prior to our time as advised) and when we brought the boat back, the guy wasn't here and we had to wait again. Someone else was kind enough to do it so we could go finally go.

This was absolutely fantastic! We had problems with delays getting to Como and once able to get into contact they were really helpful and good with us for waiting/ changing time slot (luckily it was available). We were not able to take the boat out due to unsafe conditions so we got a driver on our own boat who did a tour for us for 40mins and explained/ toured us around como lake. We were really grateful to be offered this due to not thinking we would be able to go at all, or get a refund, or change our time slot! The driver was great and stopped to take photos and checked we were okay through choppy/windy conditions. The tour was beautiful!
