   Begin the tour with a pickup from your central Rome accommodations at 9:00am. The English-speaking driver will bring you to the private port of Rome, located in Ostia (30 minutes from Rome), and drop you off at a private dock.    During your time at sea, you'll be able to see a few points of interest, such as the Castle of Santa Severa, the Castle in Santa Marinella, and the Roman ruins on the Sea of Ladispoli. Cruise by these locations as your guide briefs you on each area, including Castello Odescalchi in Ladispoli. See the sights without having to leave the yacht. Stop in the private port of Santa Marinella to have a traditional lunch in a local restaurant. Once you have finished lunch, reboard the yacht for your journey back to Rome. Upon your arrival in the Rome port, a driver will be awaiting you to bring you back to your accommodation.

   Castello Palo Odescalchi

   The Castle of Palo or the Castello di Palo is a medieval fort located in Palo in the Ladispoli municipality. The castle is today owned by the Odescalchi family. The castle stands overlooking the sea where in the ancient time the Etruscan town Alsuim had once stood. The castle had originally been built for defense and the manor is the only structure which is fortified along with the Flavia tower which had been built during the 16th century as a watchtower. The manor itself is imposing and large and still in good condition. A beautiful dense forest surrounds the castle in an area of around 140 hectares.

   Santa Severa’s Castle is one of the most evocative places of the Lazio region, located along the Tyrrhenian coast, 20 minutes from Civitavecchia Cruise Port, is a heritage of inestimable value both historical and cultural. The first written documentation of the castle dates back to 1068. You will visit from outside.

   Pass by

   Marina di Santa Marinella is just a doorstep away from Capo Linaro, a historical destination for nautical tourism located to the north of Rome. The majestic silhouette of the XIV-century castle “Castello Odescalchi” rises upon the city. The marina is located at the heart of the city centre of Santa Marinella, also called the “Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea”, and it is a popular seaside destination close to Rome.
