Siena: Tour and Wine Tasting in a Tuscan Private Castle

Dopo qualche piccolo problema nel trovare l'entrata..siamo stati veramente ben accolti. Elena, che è stata gentilissima, ci ha spiegato la storia del castello e fatto fare un piccolo tour all'interno della proprietà (chiesa privata, orto e giardini. Siamo poi passati ad assaggiare 5 vini, tutti ottimi. L'atmosfera era famigliare e rilassata e, essendo solo noi (in 4), ci siamo goduti il momento. Tour veramente da consigliare.

We enjoyed this tour immensely!! Sveva, the owner and host was so gracious sharing the rich history and beauty of this incredible estate. Not only did we fall in love with Tuscany, we fell in love with her family run business. We were fascinated by the property and we couldn’t decide which of their wines we loved most! We can’t wait to come back!!

My husband and I had such a wonderful time here. The wine tasting was excellent and in such a rustic setting, and the hospitality of Sveva and Elena was truly delightful. The experience walking through the garden, the chapel, the castle, and the cellar (owned by sveva and her husband) was truly remarkable. We can’t wait to return and hopefully stay in one of their beautiful rooms!

We had the most amazing experience with Sveba. She was incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel at home in her family’s castle. She shared fascinating history about the property and guided us through five of their organic wines, explaining the composition and story behind each one. She also provided snacks and water, and even let us relax and finish the bottles while waiting for our taxi, which made the experience feel so personal and special. This was truly the highlight of our trip and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Most gracious, informative and helpful hostess! She was beaming with pride of her castle, clearly knew a lot about the history, was a great storey teller and seemed genuinely a nice person. We had a cosy wine tasting along with some soup that she had personally made which was out of the world. The wine was great, bought some as well. Overall, a MUST VISIT

Super Awesome!!! The owner herself welcomed us for the last batch of the exclusive wine tasting tour that day at 7pm, and we were so happy for this unforgettable experience! We had the best wine experience because of the rich history of the place and the warmth hospitality and keen knowledge of the owne 👏🏻😊🍷 I wish to go back and bring my family and friends here again and enjoy the experience first hand from a resident/owner and farmer 😊👏🏻🍷❤️

Bravo pour la qualité de l’accueil et de la présentation d’Helena toujours très souriante et chaleureuse malgré un petit couac avec 2 invitées perdues qu’elle a dû aller chercher en voiture. Super échanges au moment de la dégustation des vins, tous d’aussi bonne qualité les uns que les autres . Une suggestion pour faire de ce moment une parenthèse unique : accompagner la dégustation des vins d’ un peu plus de spécialités culinaires locales…
