From the 13th to the 16th century an endless flow of creativity went through Florence, the city was a hub of humanist scholarship and artistic production, largely funded by the powerful Medici family; Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Leonardo, Donatello, Giotto, Botticelli… they all lived here and left unforgettable masterpieces.
