Florence Small Group Golf Cart Tour to Piazzale Michelangelo

I chose this activity because it was an excellent way to learn some history about the area and an easy ride to Piazza del Michelangelo. I had planned ahead of time to visit the piazza to watch the sunset and booked a dinner reservation down the hill. My timing was a little off. I booked the 5:00 tour and we arrived about 6:00 for a 7:30 sunset. We waited, had a great view, a couple drinks. You can purchase an Aperol at the stand! 😉 I’m unsure if the 6:00 would have been better timing? It was starting to get very crowded at that time. Anyway, 100% guarantee that is a great way to get there!

Our experience on the Small Group Golf Cart Tour, Piazzale Michelangelo, was nothing short of a nightmare. It started late due to an organizational problem with your team and guests. We ended up being in a cart with just our driver (who was very nice and professional), but we started at least 15 minutes late. This was a problem because we had dinner reservations after the event. We allowed plenty of time to reach our dinner, but the disaster of running out of power on our golf cart blew that. We overheated before we reached the top of the hill and were stuck up there for a long time. Then we realized it would be dark soon and I called an uber to get us out of there. Luckily, the uber came but we missed the sunset and view that we were supposed to see because we never made it to the top of the hill, and we were stopped short on the back side. The poor guide and golf cart might still be there! I would like full compensation for the uber that we had to use

Aziz was our guide and he drove us safely around the city, allowing us to stop for photos and giving us additional information to the recorded tour descriptions that were played at various stops along the way. We were blown away by how stunning the scenery and views were of the Tuscan countryside as we toured the local area. It wasn’t cheap but was a great way to see the city, great fun too!

Guide was late arriving, leaving us wondering if he was going to arrive at all. I went searching! Cart had two broken seat belts meaning my 13 year old wasn't strapped in, not ideal!!! Wasn't great, although kids enjoyed it. views were spectacular, but cart was loosing power and not sure we were going to make it. The idea of the tour is great, but there are other suppliers out there. I wouldn't recommend these guys.
