   Have you ever tried a Mountain Lunch at the 5 Towers? After a morning of exploring, we will stop for lunch at the Scoiattoli Refuge, run by the historic Lorenzi family since the 1960s. Did you know that this family, with deep roots in mountaineering, is famous for warm hospitality and delicious local dishes? Can you imagine enjoying polenta, dumplings or strudel, immersed in breathtaking scenery? The refuge is named after the Cortina Squirrels, a legendary group of climbers who made the Dolomites famous worldwide. Dining here, surrounded by the spectacular views of the 5 Towers, is more than a meal—it’s an authentic mountain experience. Are you ready to live it?

   Funivia del Lagazuoi

   Are you ready to reach the Lagazuoi Peak? After lunch, we head to Mount Lagazuoi to climb with one of the highest cable cars in the Dolomites, inaugurated in 1965. Can you imagine the thrill of reaching 2,752 meters above sea level in a few minutes, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes? Did you know that Lagazuoi is not only a natural spectacle, but also a place of great historical importance? During the First World War, its tunnels and posts were the scene of clashes between Italian and Austro-Hungarian troops. From the top, the views stretch from the Tofane to the Austrian Alps, passing through the Marmolada and the Fanes mountains, making it one of the most spectacular observation points in the Dolomites.    Would you like to walk between history and breathtaking views? After reaching the top by cable car, we will explore the surroundings of the Lagazuoi Refuge, surrounded by spectacular views of the Dolomites, including the Tofane and the Marmolada. Did you know that the shelter, built in the 1960s, provides shelter for travelers and is close to a network of First World War trenches and tunnels? Here, as at the 5 Towers, the historical remains have been transformed into an open-air museum, telling stories of battles and life at high altitudes.
