   Tour of the Gulf of Poets through San Terenzo, Lerici, Fiascherino and Tellaro. Also known as the Gulf of La Spezia; at the far end, two popular tourist destinations: Lerici village with its majestic castle and Portovenere, Unesco World Heritage Site, which enclosed him. The name "Gulf of Poets" derives from the sojourn, over the centuries, of many artists, authors and poets, attracted to the unique beauty of the area.    Circumnavigation of the islands (Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto) and return through Portovenere channel. Palmaria Island is reachable in a few minutes from Porto Venere, by boat or ferry; it is a perfect place to spend a bathing day, with clear sea and unpolluted nature. You can relax looking at Porto Venere a few metres from you, have a lunch in the restaurants or bars in the island or take a walk in the many pathways, admiring wonderful landscapes.

   An ancient sailor village, Lerici owes its luck to a bathing tourism begun centuries ago; beloved by famous poets an artists for the beauty of his territory, for its clear sea and sandy coast. The ancient village is dominated by a Castle, symbol of the village; here, you can have bathing days, walk along the panoramic road from Lerici to S. Terenzo, a lovely and characteristic nearby sea village.

   Portovenere, a Riviera gem overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia, more romantically known as the Golfo dei Poeti for all the literary figures who came to swoon over the area’s astounding natural beauty, has often been dubbed the “sixth” Cinque Terre town, offering what its more famous counterparts are known for—splendid seaside settings, extraordinarily scenic coastlines and walking trails, and rustic Ligurian cuisine

   Tellaro

   Become part of the list of "Most Beautiful Italian Villages", Tellaro is a small, wonderful sea village in the Gulf of Poets, near Lerici. Favorite destination of romantic poets and artists, where spent their holidays and summer, it is a timeless masterpiece, with small streets, characteristic coloured houses and ancient churches overlooking the sea. A real village where land and sea are closely tied.
