   We walk up the walls to the Bastion of San Frediano. The walls of Lucca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are the best preserved Renaissance walls that can be seen in Tuscany

   The basilica contains the remains of Santa Zita, very dear to the people of Lucca and protector of servants and housewives We will visit the interior to see the frescoes that narrate the arrival of the Holy Face in the city

   Pass by

   Walking along Via Fillungo, an ancient pilgrim route on the Via Francigena, today the shopping street in Lucca, I will tell you about the legend linked to the Clock Tower. If we have time, we can taste Buccellato, a typical dessert of Lucca
