Unlike tourist gondola rides, the traghetto is a simple, functional crossing, often taken standing up, and deeply rooted in daily Venetian life. This short but memorable crossing offers a unique perspective of the Grand Canal, allowing you to admire its palaces from the water while experiencing an authentic local tradition that has remained largely unchanged over time. Please note that this crossing is paid directly to the gondolier on site (€2 per person) and is not included in the tour due to specific local Venetian regulations. This ensures the experience remains faithful to local customs and regulations.

The route then leads you through Campo San Moisè and along Calle Larga XXII Marzo, a street combining luxury boutiques with the memory of Venice’s 1848 revolution.
