Built in the 4th century AD, it was commissioned by the Roman Senate to commemorate Constantine's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge.

The latin name Trans Tiberium means ‘beyond the Tiber’ in fact we will cross the river to visit the little alleys and medieval houses which will make you feel like you have travelled back in the middleages. At night Trastevere is very lively with lots of bars and restaurants. Indeed it’s worth a visit.
