   A private driver will pick you up at your hotel, B&B, and apartment in Rome to take you to the rail station and get the train to Milano Centrale station with the help of an assistent. A local guide will be waiting at the train platform in Milan, holding a sign with your name, to bring you to Milan city center and start the walking tour. Milan Cathedral is Italy's most original Gothic building, adorned with thousands of sculptures. The most famous Milan attraction is dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity. High-colored Windows illuminate the interior, where 52 columns support the roof. Here, you can admire pinnacles and statues. IMPORTANT: Visit is from the outside, but on reqquest can can organize the Cathedral inside visit. Timing includes transfers and train travel time.

   Your Milan visit continues to the Scala Opera House Square. The Scala Opera House has been the scenery of the premières of Verdi, Donizetti, Puccini, and many others. It holds shows from some of Italy’s greatest operatic artists and singers worldwide and is renowned as one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world IMPORTANT: Visit from the outside.

   During this day trip from Milan to Rome, you will explore the sites where locals spend their everyday lives. Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, named after the first King of Italy, is Italy’s oldest shopping mall. It is a charming and elegant gallery with refined shops, restaurants, and cafes today. The structure of the building consists of two glass-vaulted arcades intersecting in an octagon and covers the street connecting Piazza del Duomo to Piazza Della Scala. Instead of going to the Sforza Castle Museum, you can shop in Via Monte Napoleone, renowned for its design shops.

   Your tour escort will bring you to the impressive Sforza Castle, where admission to the courtyard is free. The place and the surrounding gardens are a gathering place for locals and tourists. The entrance inside the Castle's walls is free of charge. The Sforza Castle is also a museum housing important sculptures and paintings (visit not included).

   You will then have free time for lunch and wandering around the fashion distric, like Milaneses do during their free time. Today’s Italian financial center, Milan, was an important center of the Roman Empire and then the Capital of Napoleon’s Kingdom in Italy. This modern city is famous for being the Italian headquarters of Fashion stylists and shoppers’ paradise. Timing includes transfers and train travel time. At the end of the tour, your guide will arrange the transfer back to the rail station, an assist you to get the train back to Rome, where a private driver will be waiting wait at the same place he dropped you off in the morning.
