Turin Bike Tour for First-Time Visitors

Matteo's tour was brilliant!! Everything is very well organised, the bikes are of very good quality (city and mountain) and Matteo pays attention to your safety at all times, making sure you feel comfortable with the height etc This is my second city bike tour this summer and I am absolutely converted to it as a tour concept! You cover so much more ground than on foot and we had time to see all city highlights well as cycling to the river. Matteo really gave us the perfect overview of Turin's history and culture. We hadden een fijne fietstocht doorheen Turijn. Het was echt leuk om de stad op deze manier te verkennen en telkens wat uitleg te krijgen over over de geschiedenis of kunstenaars van de plekjes waar we halt hielden. Matteo is een heel aangename gids en de fietsen waren nieuw en prima in orde. Een aanrader! Onze trein had ook vertraging, waardoor we maar net op tijd aankwamen, maar Matteo deed moeite om even op ons te wachten. Waarvoor dank!

It’s all about the buildings in Torino, from a looming Roman gate to smart palaces made just for the ladies! Stunning churches that are unassuming from the outside but awe inspiring inside - one even with the face of the devil looking down at the congregation! I did the tour with my 13 year old daughter who enjoyed the cycling and marvelling at impressive architecture (the 2-2.5 hours was enough history for her and enough cycling for me though). Easy and flat, but lots of cobbles for the ride. Superb bikes that are brand new (with handy little pouches on the front from phones etc). Fabulously knowledgable guide who speaks great English. He clearly loves his home city. Plenty of stopping spots for knowledge sharing and resting; lots with fountains for drinking or topping up bottles. Toilets half way round the trip, so all in all everything is catered for. Would recommend.
