The itinerary takes place in Val Loana, in the Val Vigezzo area (VCO), one of the main access routes to the Val Grande National Park.
Once you reach the end of the agro-forest-pastoral road and cross the plain, the path winds through wide clearings and mixed forests.
After passing the last few mountain huts, the route continues along a trail, entering a more secluded and quiet environment. The route ascends with a moderate slope along a mule track, offering ideal settings to pause and observe the characteristic species of the territory, which will then be explored in greater depth once the destination is reached.
Arrival at the Bivacco Scaredi (an unmanaged facility) marks the entrance to the heart of the Val Grande National Park. Here you will have a lunch break (sandwich) and further explore the olfactory experience through a route dedicated to discovering a selection of raw materials – in the form of essential oils
