We followed the instructions for purchasing tickets; the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. When we arrived at the Duomo, there were detailed directions for entering. The Duomo and its floors will leave you speechless with their beauty and uniqueness.

I bought four tickets for August 16, 2026, the day of the Palio di Siena. When I went to exchange my tickets, I was told that, as everyone knows, admission is free on August 15 and 16 for the cathedral and its library. We went to visit the cathedral, but I'd like a refund so I don't feel like "Headout" has ripped me off.

We had a wonderful tour of the cathedral, with plenty of details thanks to the audio guide. The library is a real highlight—don't miss it! The little chapel in the back on the right was our favorite part.

The Cathedral is great but do not use HEADOUT - they make you pay 50% more online than at the door and you still have to qeue to change your voucher into a ticket - in short, you pay 50% with zero benefit (and more hassle)
