Hike off the beaten track on the Rotaro volcano with a geologist who explains its eruptive history. You'll see fumaroles and mofette and walk around the crater, surrounded by the silence of the volcanic landscape. Lunch at a restaurant and hotel transfers are included.

What's included

Transport from your hotel to the starting point of the hike and transport from the ending point of the hike back to your accommodation.
A guided hiking tour off the beaten track with a geologist as tour leader.
Group photo of your hiking tour to download from our Eurogeopark website or to be sent by email.
Food and drinks at the restaurant during the lunch break.

Good to know

Sturdy footwear with a tread is required since this is a hike.
Please remember to bring enough water; food is not required. After about 3.5 hours, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Depending on the weather, please bring sun protection or rain gear.

You will be picked up from your accommodation/hotel by our partner transfer company and dropped off at the end of the tour. Please wait 10 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time at the entrance/parking lot of your hotel. Look out for a white Schiano minibus.
