Wine Tasting in Venice

The owner was friendly and told a bit about the wine. Lovely place. The cheese and meat was nice and went well with the wine. We ordered another two glasses of wine and some extra food that we paid for in addition to add to the experience but overall I don’t think the price you pay is worth the experience. You are really just having cheese and wine and there is nothing special about it as such. There was a photo shoot for the wine bar happening while we were there and they were more focused on the press than on the customers. We waited ages for the extra food we ordered.

Overall, nice activity. This tiny tavern/wine bar seemed like a local fave. Our wine guy was very nice but very busy with many customers coming and going. We waited to be helped but once we learned about the wine region, had our wines and food, all was good. (It’s not a food-pairing activity, you’ll receive a small charcuterie board which was delicious.) Mixed review for me but it was fun to experience a small locals place. The wines were really good, different than the mainstream. It would be great if they could schedule the wine tasting/region info when the tavern isn’t open for business yet. I’d definitely do this again.
