Alternative Rome Walking Tour: Hidden Gems & Untold Stories

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Jacob is a great guide and did well to shepherd 35 of us around a very busy Rome! He is very knowledgeable and has a good sense of humour. Would recommend if you want to know more about the powerful families of Rome and their links with the papacy.

Really fun tour, Jacopo was very informative from the history of the area to fun local spots off the beaten path. Very friendly and accommodating with lots of fun facts to go along with a beautiful tour!

Serena is an amazing guide She is pleasent knowledgeable and has passion in her subjects She made it fun I think the group size should be limited so that it could be more manageable .

We were very happy with our guide. He was very knowledgeable, energetic and a good storyteller. For the next guys: Just make sure you understand that the 4€ advance doesn’t go to the guide and from your tip he has to pay them again.

Sensationell, dass es so eine Alternative Tour gibt. Wir 3 hatten viel Spaß mit der quirligen Iris, die nicht nur wirklich viel wusste sondern auch noch jede Menge praktische Tipps parat hatte. In der Kleingruppe blieb wirklich kein Wunsch und keine Frage offen. Just book it!

Rehberimiz Simone bizi çok güzel ağırladı ve gezdirdi. Anlatımı ve verdiği detaylar müthişti. İşini severek yaptığını hissettim gerçekten. Enerjisi çok iyi. Anlatımı kesinlikle verdiği paraya deydi. Bazen aksanını anlamak zordu ama o iyi bir konuşmacı.

Fantastic! Thought I’d be seeing things I’ve already seen but it was pleasant to see some places I wouldn’t have known to go and learn a little bit of the history along the way. Iris was wonderful. She’s very knowledgeable, very expressive, and made the whole experience very lighthearted with some jokes here and there. Would recommend!

The tour was amazing and Iris was SO informative and fun. It’s so clear she loves her ‘job’. Absolutely worth every penny ie the ‘tip’ you give. Don’t be cheap, Iris is fabulous. My 8th visit to Rome and learnt so much more again today. Fabulous. xx
