Rome: Assisi, Civita di Bagnoregio & Orvieto Day Tour

Der Ausflug war wunderschön. Unser Guide Aron war sehr gut informiert und konnte alle Fragen super beantworten. Der Fahrer Stefano war umsichtig und hat uns alle sicher und gut gefahren. Ich hätte gern in Assisi 30 Minuten weniger und dafür in Orvieto mehr gehabt. Aber das war nur mein Empfinden. Alles in allem kann ich die Tour wärmstens empfehlen.

To begin my review it is notable that the bus was comfortable and the driver was very safe and kept us on schedule. Tiziano & our driver were outstanding in their service. The details on the website basically said you’re getting transport. We had so much fun! Tiziano gave a warm welcome to all travelers, explained well what we were about to experience, kept us well informed on time in, to and from a place, paid attention to our basic needs, safety and the overall joy of experience and the importance of the places we visited. He was knowledgeable, an excellent leader & listener, friendly, funny, joyful and went out of his way to help us enjoy a memorable taste of Italy! I highly recommend the tour. Roberto was an outstanding tour guide! He was energetic from early morning until the very end and took great care of everyone throughout the entire trip. Even though most of the group spoke Spanish, he was incredibly kind and made sure to look after us in English as well. He is by far the best guide we’ve had during our travels. Luciano was a highly professional driver — the ride was safe and very comfortable. We’re truly happy to have joined this tour. Thank you Roberto and Luciano! Highly recommended!

Our tour guide, Serena, was OUTSTANDING! This is a wonderful —but long— day trip to (3) separate villages. My favorite was Assisi where I felt 2.5 hrs was plenty for just an introduction to the town. Civita, the “decaying town” was my least favorite as I thought 1 hour to get across the pedestrian bridge and back (mostly uphill) was challenging. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the unique challenge that this 2nd stop presents. Orvieto was nice and wish we had more time there than just 1 hr and 15min. Overall, great trip. Fillipo, our driver, was excellent and many thanks to him for keeping us safe!
