Venice: Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica Guided Tour

Thank you so much Alex for not only waiting for us (we misjudged the time on the Vaporetto) but providing an incredible experience. We had an AMAZING Tour with Alex. We was passionate, informative and fun to be around. We learned so much and he also tested our knowledge. We had the absolutely amazing time and I would 100% recommend Alex and the tour. With our passes we could have spent 6 hours there (all inclusive), Doge’s palace, St.Marks Basilica & museum. The 3 hours was perfect for our group. Thank you again.

Mila was the guide. She was very knowledgeable. And held a good pace for a majority of the tour. I found her ability to answer questions a little challenging, not sure if that was a language barrier thing (she definitely had info to share). The cathedral is breathtaking and the palace holds a lot of beautiful sites. I feel like Mila took us to all the cool places. I didn’t expect to climb the cathedral or see the prisons since it was explicit in the booking info. Pricy but idk how much it would be for the entrance alone. Better with a guide IMO. Would not bring children under 10 on this unless extremely well behaved. A little slow to get started/ between tours- that’s on the company needing extra headphones/ people being late

Dogenpalast und Basilica sind wunderschön. Unser Guide Guida war super und hat super schön über Geschichte und Kultur Venedigs erzählt. Man merkt, dass sie die Stadt liebt. Allerdings war vor der Basilika eine knöchelhohe Pfütze durch die man durch musste, um die Basilica zu betreten. Man brauchte plastiküberzieher oder musste barfuss durch.

It was really good! I had troubles to find the correct starting point as the coordinates lead to another point (only 100m far away, but with the crowd difficult to see) and recieved a call from the agency asking me if I need help. They helped me to navigate :) apologizied and was very friendly. Donnatella was a perfect guide. Very calm and with a lot of knowledge. Advice: If you have troubles to find the exact start-location - look under the blue „clock tower“ :) Enjoy!
