Horseback Ride Through the Vineyards of Montepulciano

It was perfect!!!!! three friends who had not really ridden before and our host looked after them so well with his lovely assistant. One friend was particularly scared but within 5 minutes on the horse she was so happy and relaxed. We all loved the experience of riding through the beautiful vineyards and stunning views and to top of the day a lovely glass of wine and cheese in the lovely farmhouse over looking Montepulciano. Best Day Ever!! x

Ich fand den Ausritt sehr schön und den Tourguide sehr nett. am Ende des Ausritts gab es allerdings keine Verkostung mit lokalem Käse und Wurstwaren. es wurde uns ein Glas Wasser, Wein oder Saft angeboten und Kuchen. von dem versprochenen Käse, den Wurstwaren oder dem Olivenöl war nichts zu sehen. die Beschreibung ist demnach irreführend und der Preis von 85€ pro Person nicht gerechtfertigt.

Esperienza davvero fantastica! La passeggiata a cavallo è stata bellissima, immersa in panorami stupendi e adatta anche a chi non ha esperienza. Lo staff è stato gentile, professionale e sempre disponibile. L’ospitalità ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio e ha reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Un ricordo che porterò con me e che consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia vivere qualche ora a contatto con la natura.

A warm welcome in the heart of a family agricultural estate. Thank you Léa for sharing this moment with us. The horses are very well cared for and respected. The ride through the Tuscan countryside of Montepulciano is idyllic, safe, and easily accessible for beginners. As for the local products offered during the tasting, they come directly from the estate and are excellent. I recommend this experience 200%!

Wow!!! Where do I start. The family farm dates back to 1749 and David’s passion for horses shows in the stables and the team. I was blessed to have David’s horse, Neroni, a beautiful black horse who was clearly a leader. A welcome beyond welcomes and a glass of chilled white wine to end a wonderful vineyard tour. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the horse ride and food tasting experience. Although we arrived a few minutes late at the barn, we were warmly welcomed. Since the rest of my family were beginners, each rider was accompanied by a guide leading their horse. As the only experienced rider, I was allowed to ride independently at the front of the group. The only thing I wish had been communicated more clearly was whether experienced riders were permitted to canter or gallop. Before the ride, I had the impression that this might not be encouraged, and I didn’t want to be disrespectful by pushing the issue. Looking back, I wish I had asked more directly. That said, the owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. The ride lasted about 50 minutes, with beautiful scenery throughout. Afterwards, we sampled some local wine and farm products, which was a lovely addition. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would happily visit again!

David was very hospitable . The horses were lovely as were the horse walkers. Scenery was fantastic. My only criticism is that all of the horses but one were lead by a rope so it was more like a kiddie ride. Notwithstanding that our host knew that we had been on horses before we were not able to ride the horses by ourselves. I would recommend that this change be made. I would have given it 5 stars if we had been able to ride the horses without someone leading the horse by rope.
