The tour was great. By a stroke of luck we were the only two people in our 2PM group. Fianetta was our guide and was personable and very knowledgeable about the frescoes in the chapel. Well worth the price of admission!

Cappelle Brancacci has been on my hit list for awhile and for a variety of reasons, I’ve not been able to see it. But now I have, it was well worth the wait. The restoration has bought out all the colors and it truly is stunning. My guide pointed out the differing style of the artists and the stories behind the frescoes as well as the history of the chapel and the Brancacci family. It was fabulous.

The frescos are beautiful by themselves but I would have never understood the history and all the details in the paintings—what they represent and the different styles and painters — without the depth of knowledge our guide Laura shared with us. Great tour in a beautiful historic place.
