From Rome: Positano, Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Day Trip

My driver was Gianni and my guide was Marco--it was a Spanish group. Both so simpatici. Marco's kind, good-hearted personality brought even more fun and cohesion to the group, allowing friendships to form. And as a person living in Rome, I realize that with his warm personality hebecame a kind of Roman diplomat to tourists who have so few days in Rome. The trip was perfect---two glorious places. My only suggestion (maybe I didn't read beforehand) would be to recommend on your site to bring a bathingsuit. There was time to swim in the fabulous sea.

I planned this trip for my daughters 16th. We got up at 6am to get the coach for 7:40am. After driving for around 5 hours with one short stop for a toilet break we were told the trip couldn’t go ahead due to a landslide. Obviously this is no-one’s fault and couldn’t be prevented but for the company “city wonders” to only offer a 35% refund is a joke. They took us to pompeii instead where we had to wait at a pizza restaurant for an hour to get a mediocre pizza that we still had to pay £18 for. Then a walk around some museum. It wasn’t what we wanted to do and we did feel like we’d wasted a full day of our trip which we could have spend in Rome.

Francesco - our driver - was excellent 👌. Everything else was poor It was pretty disappointing experience because of: 1) The tour guide Heather didn't tell anything about the cities we were going to. I expected history or city stories, or anything related to the destination. We got a max five minute talk about Vesuvio and that's it. The tour guide script must be updated, for now the tour guide is a useless job on this tour - she did nothing useful. Instead of the talk about the city we got one hour of promotion of expensive stores and restaurants (likely affiliated). 2) The Limoncello factory visit was 30 seconds long run through the short corridor with no info and in a hurry. After that there was alcohol tasting with super expensive items (like table cloth for 65€??). - Worse: on the way we stopped twice near Rome for a "bathroom break" with a horrible store again. - all these stores visits wasted 1h of the tour time. 3) The activity duration states 12h. Our tour took 15h.

This experience was apparently spectacular For start i want to say that our guide Heather was so sweet and she seams that she loves her job she was so friendly and make our experience even better she described us everything perfectly and meke it more interesting also our driver Francesco was very talented actually because the roads that made was very scary and he managed to take us to those places and bring us back home safely so I highly recommend this tour for everyone

I don’t understand why I did not get an email of apology from What’s your guide as the trip to Sorrento and Positano was aborted due to a heavy storm and water obstructing the highway to the Amalfi Coast. We we brought to a restaurant that sold over priced pizza to the clients. After waiting an hour and a half the guide arranged a quick tour in Pompéi. We saw exactly 20 percent of the site and were then driven back to Rome. All in all, a wate of a day and no apologies from the vendor or Coty Wonder! I would like a REFUND please.

كان التنسيق والتنظيم جيدين للغاية. لقد استمتعت فعلا بالرحلة، مدينتي سورينتو وبوسيتانو كانتا قمة في الهدوء والجمال الساحرين. ان كانت هناك ملحوظة لأضيفها فهي ان محطة التوقف في الكازينو لم تكن مهمة البتة، فقد كان الطعام والقهوة هناك رديئين للغاية على كل حال. ان كان الخيار يعود لي لاستغنيت عنها وأطلت مدة محطتي سورينتو وبوسيتانو أو حتى أخرنا موعد الإنطلاق ليكون الأفطار في روما. أما غير ذلك فالمناظر كانت خلابة، وستظل الرحلة لجمالها عالقة في ذهني لفترة طويلة. شكرا منظمي الرحلة.
