Walking Through Catania: Streets, Insights & Delicious Bites

Our tour guide Simona was really friendly and professional throughout our tour. Simona gave lots of guidance on our day and provided lots of information throughout our tour. The food that we got to experience was really nice but it would of been really good to experience more throughout the day. Walking through the vibrant market was a perfect opportunity of getting to try the local produce but this was missed. On further tours, taking full advantage of this would be a great experience. Simona was a lovely guide and would recommend her as a valued tour guide.

We had a wonderful time on the Walking Through Catania food tour in Sicily. Our guide, Simona, was warm, friendly, and welcoming from the start. We began with a traditional Sicilian breakfast of brioche and granita, which we absolutely loved. Walking through the city streets, we learned about Catania’s rich history and culture while sampling delicious local food. The tour ended on a high note at our final stop, where we enjoyed a perfectly crisp arancino, the most delicious cipollina, and a glass of Sicilian wine. Sitting together with our group, sharing food, stories, and laughter, made the experience feel just like being part of a family. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Catania!

This tour was a perfect start to my Catania visit! Simona is not only a tour guide, she is above all a very passionate local who loves to share stories about her city and its history. The stories were connected and made me appreciate much more all the beauty buildings. I got to try granita, a local wine and a delicious arancina. Thank you so much Simona, you were lovely company!
