The Godfather Filming Locations Tour from Catania/Taormina: Explore Savoca & Forza d’Agrò

What a great day! Our guide Peter was super friendly and knowledgeable. We spent a wonderful day visiting iconic filing sites of the Godfather movie franchise. It was also wonderful to see the beautiful Sicilian countryside. We had a wonderful lunch and had some free time im Savoca. We recommend this day trip to fans of the godfather franchise, but also to anyone who wants to visit some rural parts of Sicily. A trip to remember!

Isabella was a wonderful guide. She was very easy to talk to and we learned a lot from her. She was also a good driver. The tour moved at a good pace and the highlight was Il Castello degli schiavi. Which is the place where Apollonia blew up in the car in the Godfather. It is an extra fee but it is definitely worth it. Isabella made it very interesting and was a pleasure to have as our guide. You need to pay her more. Thank you for a great memory.

It was amazing. Memories of the film (thanks to the huge dedication of our guide Peter) blended with the present. So many fascinating details, we truly felt like part of the story! Watching The Godfather will never be the same again. I highly recommend this tour, especially with this wonderful guide. Despite the heat, we had an exceptional time.

We had our 21-month-old son with us, and Peter was absolutely fantastic with him. He was so accommodating with the pace of the tour and gave us plenty of options for stroller-friendly routes and walking locations. Peter was absolutely amazing and so informative! He was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, and made our private Godfather tour such a memorable experience. Our favourite part was visiting Castello degli Schiavi, learning about its history and The Godfather connection, and getting to meet the Baron. One of the sweetest moments was when the Baron himself let our son pick a grapefruit from a tree on the property! The scenery in Savoca and Forza d’Agro was absolutely beautiful, and the lunch spot Peter recommended was fantastic. We would highly recommend Peter to anyone visiting Sicily, especially families. He made the entire day feel relaxed, personal, and enjoyable!

It was a wonderful experience! I’ve really enjoyed the tour especially Castello degli schiavi. As a huge fan of the film, it was a surreal experience being in the place, it made me tear up! The Savoca and Forza d’ Agro tours were also amazing, the filming locations are well-preserved and both locations are stunning! Thanks to our fantastic guide Peter! Very friendly and I appreciate so much his interesting behind-the-scenes stories. I recommend this tour!

We did the Godfather tour with Peter who was an excellent guide, very informative and interesting. He told us scene by scene information at the locations we visited, enhanced by video clips and pictures. The visit to the mansion was well worth the extra cost, the Baron is so enthusiastic and such a character. Brilliant day, highly recommend even if you are not a big movie fan, the scenery is amazing. Thank you Peter for a great day
