The tour guide was great, nice, she had a great knowledge and explained everything to the smallest details. She was the only good thing about the trip, the transfers were late both ways, they kept us waiting for more than half an hour with no clear explanations.

La visita a Pompei è stata fantastica, ma non abbiamo preso l'opzione Vesuvio perché è falsamente inclusa. L'avevamo prenotata, ma il Vesuvio era chiuso e quindi non siamo potuti andare. Abbiamo chiesto il rimborso dei biglietti inclusi per la salita al Vesuvio. La richiesta è stata rifiutata. A quanto pare, non avevamo scelto l'opzione Vesuvio. Fate attenzione alle vostre prenotazioni e rivolgetevi invece a Getyourguide. Grazie comunque ad Akos per la visita a Pompei, che è stata davvero fantastica e interessante.

There was no communication between the driver and the tour guide. We received a phone call telling us to go back to the driver, even though the guided tour was not yet finished. Additionally, the guide in Pompeii did not show us the most important sights. He focused mostly on architecture and brothels, rather than providing a comprehensive overview of the volcanic eruption and its impact on the population. I had expected a tour of the city to focus more on the historical context and the tragedy of the event.

Roberta was a brilliant guide - super friendly, knowledgeable and managed our group well. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Pompeii for two hours with a guide. And the transfer to Pompeii from Naples and from Pompeii to Naples was very prompt, handy and simple - just be sure to show up to the transfer on time as they leave right on time!
