A comprehensive and fascinating tour of Castel Sant'Angelo which took us through the building from subterranean vault to imposing tower, with magnificant views of Rome.

The tour of Castel Sant'Angelo was really interesting. Our tour guide, Simone, was also really great. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm rolled in during the tour, so the view from the top was a bit hazy. What was really a shame, though, were the other people in our group. They showed absolutely no interest in the tour, so Simone had a really hard time keeping the mood up. How can you go on a tour when you don’t actually want to be there? It was a real shame for the rest of the group.

The tour was very interesting and our guide really knew a lot about Castel Sant'Angelo and explained everything by making conections with other Roman monuments and asking us questions

Alec Baldwin (love the name) was a gratious and kind host. His knowledge was enlightening. He had a way of being real without being offensive, which we found refreshing. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.

We met Christa outside the castle Sant Angelo at the pre arranged time , Vhrista was there early and identifiable plus she had a list of names of those on the tour. Christa was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about Rome. Christa encouraged us to ask questions and she wanted us to enjoy he experience with her. I would recommend a tour if you want to enjoy Rome to the fullest extent.

The guide was excellent, very interesting and informative. She explained and showed us how the Tomb and later Fortress changed throughout the ages, and the important events that shaped its history and the history of Rome. I really liked the context that she provided. She was very professional, not too fast or too slow, not too much information or too little, and all of it relevant.
