Full-Day Val d'Orcia Tour: Renaissance Towns, Wine Tasting & Scenic Views

It felt as though it was the guides first time doing this tour. She spent all her time while driving between destinations receiving information about the area from the driver and not relating it to anyone on the bus and on her cell phone. I only know though because of my minimal understanding of Italian. We also got lost at one point and then when we showed up to our first destination late and the guide took off on us leaving us outside the winery. We found her later in the toilettes as she had rushed to get there first. That would be fine if urgent but let the bus know what we are supposed to do instead of leaving us standing there all wondering. There were so many other unacceptable practices that took places on this tour by our guide that made it an ongoing joke for the 12 hours we were on tour. The bus windshields wipers didn't work and it was raining badly so safety was a concern as well. And we weren't provided the pecorino cheese tasting in pienza or told anything about the area beside the two sentences she read from a piece of paper. When asked questions throughout the day her answer was that she didn't know how to say the answer in English. Would not recommend and think most people would ask for their money back.
