   Stazione Marittima di Salerno

   Pass by

   The driver will meet the participants at the Salerno Maritime Station, at the exit of the cruise terminal or at the point indicated in the Reservation Confirmation. After reception and accommodation on board, departure in the direction of Pompeii.

   Archaeological Park of Pompeii

   Visit one of the most fascinating and well-known archaeological sites in the world, preserved for centuries under ash and lapilli after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.C. You will meet an experienced Archaeological Guide who will accompany you on a journey of about two hours. The Guide will select the most significant monuments and environments that can be visited during the day, telling the daily life, habits and social organization of the ancient Roman city. The route will include the Forum, temples, spas, shops, domus, theaters, cobbled streets and public buildings. The places actually visited may change according to the turnout, maintenance work and openings established by the Archaeological Park.

   If the program of the day, the entrance times and the time available before returning to Salerno allow it, the driver can recommend a typical restaurant in the area. The stop will be made exclusively with the agreement of all participants. The restaurant is not pre-arranged and can be chosen based on location, availability and time of day. Lunch, drinks and any extras are not included in the price. Each participant can freely choose from the menu and pay directly at the restaurant.

   Parco Nazionale Del Vesuvio

   Reach the Vesuvius area and get ready to live an experience in contact with one of the most famous volcanoes in the world. The route leads to the Gran Cono through an uphill path characterized by volcanic soil. The visit takes place with the assistance of local volcanological guides, who provide information on the formation of the volcano, its eruptions and the characteristics of the crater. Along the way there are panoramic stops and, on a clear day, you can admire sweeping views of the Gulf of Naples and Campania. The visit requires a decent ability to walk on sloping sections and uneven terrain. Comfortable shoes suitable for hiking are recommended.

   Salerno

   At the end of the visit to Vesuvius, departure for Salerno and return to the Maritime Station or to the agreed pick-up point. The program is organized taking into account the time communicated for the return of cruise ship passengers.
