Lake Garda: Olive Oil Tour & Tasting with Gourmet Food

The tour was amazing! Simone was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and the meeting room is beautiful, spacious and well organized. We learned so much! Every item we tasted (various olive oils and olives) was presented beautifully and incredibly delicious, you will wish you could buy one of everything to take home. We highly recommend this tour!

Die Tour hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Wir waren zu viert und Simone hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen und uns leidenschaftlich die Olivenbäume und Weinreben gezeigt, vom Herstellungsprozess erzählt und unsere Fragen beantwortet. Das Tasting war umfangreich, wir haben viel gelernt und sind am Ende mit neuen Lieblingsölen gegangen. Wir werden es jedem weiter empfehlen!

Le guide était très accueillant et sympathique, nous avons passé un excellent moment avec lui. Très riche d’information sur la végétation du champs, nous avons même visité le vignoble. Nous avons fait une grande découverte sur les différentes huiles d’olive, les huiles aromatisées etaient très naturelles et authentiques par rapport aux celles de grandes commerces. Nous avons acheté plein! Le seul reproche était, l’endroit à entrer en voiture n’était pas très clair. Si on peut ajouter dans l’information du “point de rencontre” ça serait parfait. En fait, il fallait entrer là où sho the oils. En tout cas, merci pour l’accueil et la visite!

This was a wonderful opportunity to see another side of life during our holiday at Lake Garda. I found it very grounding to have a walk about the land, some of the olive groves are 100-150 years old and still bearing fruit. High up on the hill, there’s a wonderful view across the countryside. The history of the olive farm was interesting, Roberta has farmed this land for decades and unsurprisingly knows her stuff. After the tour, we had a tasting session in their brand new studio, which is beautiful. Tasting olive oil (like a wine tasting) was a revelation. Like the best outings, some shopping was an option at the end and I took advantage of bringing home a variety of these award winning extra virgin olive oils.
