   Nago-Torbole

   Pass by

   Nago-Torbole is one of the most characteristic villages of Alto Garda, where the alpine landscape meets the Mediterranean climate. Inhabited since Roman times, it developed as an important crossing point between the Adige valley and the lake. Today it is famous for its port, the houses overlooking the water, and the constant winds that make it one of the European capitals of sailing and windsurfing.

   Pass by

   Born in the 12th century to defend the port, the Rocca passed from episcopal garrison to Scaliger fortress, then to Habsburg barracks. Today hosts the MAG: a perfect stop to read Riva as a hinge between lake commerce, power, and border.

   Pass by

   Dug out of the rock between 1848 and 1851 thanks to the intuition of Giacomo Cis, it took Ledro Valley out of a secular isolation. Closed to traffic in 1995, since 2004 it has a second life as one of the most famous cycling paths on Lake Garda.

   The stop here is not random: the old passage point of the Ponale has become a symbolic place for cyclists and hikers. A short break allows one to connect rest, memory of the road, and the culture of slow travel on the Garda.

   Lago di Ledro

   20min

   Lake Ledro is one of the most picturesque lakes in Trentino, surrounded by mountains and forests of the Ledro Valley. It is also famous for the important pile dwelling site discovered in 1929, when the lowering of the waters brought to light thousands of piles of a prehistoric Bronze Age village. Since 2011 the site has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
