The most memorable part for me was standing inside the Colosseum and finally seeing how huge it really is. I had seen so many photos before, but being there in person made me realize just how massive and impressive the whole place is. It felt completely different from anything I had expected.

It's a disgrace!!!!! There was no one at the meeting point, I lost €80 and half a day. I didn't manage to reach anyone from customer support to help me, and no one tried to call me even though you had my contact details. You are thieves!!!😡 I can tell you that I'm not going to give you any good publicity, believe me!!!!!🖕

The Roman Forum was disappointing. You were denied access almost everywhere (extra ticket required). What's left is looking at individual stones lying around.

We had a great experience! The person waiting for us at the meeting point was really super nice; he gave us very useful tips to save time, and also for restaurants and things to visit in the city. As an added bonus, he spoke French!! The Colosseum is an absolutely magnificent monument steeped in history! Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum are open-air museums! A very good experience, easy access and quick entry (at least at 8:30 AM!).

The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill form a magnificent, jaw-dropping archaeological triple-threat that proves ancient Romans knew how to build things meant to last, even if they completely lacked safety regulations. Walking up to the Colosseum is like standing next to a mountain built by people who hated empty space. At nearly 2,000 years old, this massive stone oval still hums with the chaotic energy of 60,000 screaming Romans watching gladiators question their career choices. Sure, the concrete work is brilliant, but the customer service back in 80 AD left a lot to be desired. Today, you don't have to dodge lions, but you do have to dodge selfie sticks. Pro tip: look down into the underground hypogeum and appreciate that the backstage area of antiquity featured caged leopards instead of a bowl of green M&Ms. If you love piles of broken marble that used to be government corruption hubs, the Roman Forum is your paradise. Without a guide, it looks like a very expensive stone-quarry disaster. With a guide, it transforms into the bustling, cutthroat center of the ancient world where Julius Caesar once strutted around and senators argued loudly before backstabbing each other. Walk the ancient Via Sacra and try to imagine the toga-clad chaos, debt panics, and grand processions. Just watch your step—tripping over a 2,000-year-old curb is a poor way to recreate the Fall of Rome. Perched right above the noise, Palatine Hill is the mythical birthplace of Rome and the ultimate ancient real estate flex. Emperors built their sprawling palaces here simply because the view of the Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum beat looking at literally anything else. It is noticeably quieter than the Colosseum mosh pit, making it the ideal spot to wander past ruined imperial living rooms and pretend you are deciding whether to banish a province or just grab an espresso.

It is spectacular on the outside and we also loved it on the inside. Afterwards we did the Palatine Hill and the Forum in that order, which I think is highly recommended. In terms of lines, it was very crowded, but that's normal.

Skip-the-line entry, the visit was really beautiful and well worth it. It was amazing to see the grandeur of this structure on the banks of the Tiber, and the Angel's Terrace was also magnificent, offering a panoramic view of Rome.

Getting into venues was fine but audio guide was useless. It didn't follow the route and kept skipping back to bits we'd already heard. Dex was much better Not worth paying extra for.

Rome is a beautiful city, a must-see! The Headout booking website for tickets to the various monuments we visited is very easy to use. The entry tickets to the different sites are delivered to you a few days in advance and become active when needed. I recommend HEADOUT. I recommend the website.
