Uffizi & Accademia: Timed Entry Tickets with Audio Guide

There were endless queues in front of the Accademia Gallery. The tickets bought via Headout meant skipping the lines and getting inside on the specified time slot. The Accademia Gallery is small and was packed with touristis, but the exposed art is marvelous. And the Uffizi gallery is just unforgettable - not just the works of art but also the building and its interiors. Uffizi is more comfortable for seeing the paintings and statues as the space is large and you have time to observe and explore. Also the cafe with roof terrace and view of Palazzo Vecchio was great for taking rest at coffee and a delicious lemmon cake.

The instructions said someone would be holding a sign that said " Head Out," but that never happened. We were at the exact spot where we were directed to meet "a guide," at the exact time they said we needed to meet there, but they 100% were not there. We had to wander around asking for anyone that knew anything about Head Out and eventually found a guy that didn't have any identifying information from Head Out whatsoever. Nothing. Ridiculous! And then, once we searched all over and happenstance found a guy, again with no information that connected him to Head Out, he scanned our QR code and gave us our actual tickets and told us to stand in line with everyone else. It was an absolute joke! Buy from someplace else.

We arrived at the designated meeting location with our QR code ready to receive our actual tickets. No one ever arrived to give us our tickets and by that time, entry to the Accademia Gallery was sold out and we were unable to purchase backup tickets and therefore could not enter. Paid over $100 for tickets we never received and I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company as services were not rendered.
