Good to know

The path is no. 9 and does NOT reach the "Gran Cono" (crater) of the volcano.
This hiking activity is not suitable for people with walking difficulties and/or heart disease.
There are no facilities on the path, so there are no toilets and, if necessary, natural crevices will be used.
Telephone communications are not guaranteed at all, but it is possible to communicate only in certain sections and only with certain telephone operators.
We strongly recommend "layered" clothing, with a waterproof windbreaker, shoes that do not have a smooth sole (a "tread" sole would be ideal), light backpacks with essentials, at least half a liter of water (1 liter recommended), a spare shirt, sunglasses and a hat with a visor, insect repellent and sunscreen.
