On the roof of the Madonie: hike to the summit of Pizzo Carbonara

A guided hike through beech forests, sinkholes and traces of ancient seas leads you to the summit of Pizzo Carbonara in the heart of the Madonie. Fossils 200 million years old accompany the trail, and from the top the panorama stretches from Mount Etna to the Nebrodi Mountains and out to the islands.
