Palermo: Cefalù & Monreale Day Trip with Boat Option

Renato was a very welcoming and friendly driver. Although it was not a guided tour, he gave passed on some interesting detail about the destinations and Sicily more generally. Cefalu was incredible and we found a shady section on beach and went for a swim. We found an lovely small restaurant to and had some delicious pasta. Monreale was also very impressive. A recommended day out.

Lidt pricy, ift hvad man får for pengene (som er transporten). Det ville være rart at blive kørt op til Rocca i Cefalu, når det er så varmt. Chaufføren var rigtig sød og vi nød selskabet. Der var dog lidt misforståelse ift. hvad der var inkluderet ved besøget i Monreale, da det kun var af kirken som man har adgang til, da de øvrige koster 3,5 eller 8 euro at få adgang til.

Onze chauffeur Massimo was heel erg vriendelijk, leuk om een praatje mee te maken en verwelkomend. Het was erg leuk om door Cefalù te wandelen, winkeltjes te bezoeken en daarna even aan het stand te liggen en genieten van de zee. De tijd hiervoor is ook zeer ruim. Daarna doorrijden naar Monreale om de duomo te bezoeken. Hiervoor hadden we een uurtje de tijd. Enorm mooie kathedraal. We hebben onze ogen uitgekeken. Het enige nadeel vond ik de tijd die we onderweg waren. Palermo - Cefalù is 1u. Dan van Cefalù naar Monreale 1u20 en dan van Monreale naar Palermo terug 20 minuten. Voor de rest was alles heel fijn!

Excellent service from townsofitaly, pick up point was easy to find, the Mercedes mini van was very clean and nicely air conditioned on a hot day. We left on time and had a good 4 hours in Cefalu, amazing resort with a beautiful cathedral winding streets with bars restaurants a beach and plenty of history. We left Cefalu for Monreale on time and had time to look around this small town with another historic cathedral (needs to be seen), a quick gelato before head back to Palermo, fantastic day out.

Απλα μια υπηρεσία μεταφοράς. Δεν είναι δραστηριοτητα, ούτε εκδρομή. βγαίνει λιγο πιο οικονομικά να πας Τσεφαλού με ταξί. Αν πας Τσεφαλου με ταξί όμως ρυθμίζεις μόνος το πρόγραμμα σου. 5 ώρες μας άφησε στην Τσεφαλου. και μετα λιγότερο απο 1 ωρα στο Μόνρεαλ που επί της ουσίας σε αφήνει έξω απο τον Καθεδρικό που για να το γυρίσεις θέλεις 2,5 ώρες (πέρα απο Καθεδρικός, εχει roof top, παλάτι και άλλη μια αιθουσα). Σαν να πληρώνεις ταξί. Αυτό και μόνο

Boat option excellent. It was a surprise to me that if you took the boat option you didn't actually visit Cefalu. This was not mentioned it tour description. Also there was no audio guide for Monreale cathedral. Very disappointing. The guide should have checked that everyone had access to an interpretation. No one did. He was very keen to drop off and leave. It advertised a live English guide. He hardly said a word for the whole trip. No information offered or commentary. Would have been good to have some historical context.

the view while driving 🚗, to improve, you're actually supplying a car transportation, thats it which it could be done by bus ,with about 20.00 euro and spend more time in cefalu, instead of spending time stuck in traffic. spending $$250.dollars just for transportation it's unacceptable. I am sorry, I should have listened to my wife and canceled itto

Le transport sur les deux sites visités ainsi que la prestation de "Luca" notre guide-chauffeur étaient à la hauteur de toute attente... Cefalù m'a rempli de bonheur et sa Rocca, une merveille pour admirer le panorama! J'ai pour ma part regretté de ne pas avoir eu 30-45 minutes de plus pour la visite de la cathédrale de Monreale! Ceci-dit la journée fut exceptionnelle et je recommande vivement l'activité!
