We visited the Gargano puppet museum while in Messina so when I saw this puppet show I grabbed tickets. The show was AMAZING! It’s a must do while in Palermo. We thoroughly enjoyed it ! Very pleasant staff. The children were invited on stage individually to have their pictures take with the puppets. My husband raved about it.

Anyone who travels to Palermo must schedule a puppet tour/show. This experience is timeless. Watching these puppets come to life with such emotion, you feel apart of the story. This family tradition continues and we are blessed to see their passion and creative work come to life. Thank you for such a memorable experience! Lydia

The show was lively and funny. It was great to see such a long standing traditional puppet show in person. The puppeteers were obviously enjoying it as much as the audience was. The only downside was the people taking pictures and filming during the performance. It was very distracting and several people didn't know how to turn off their flash or operate their phones properly. Sometimes, it is just nice to put your phone away and enjoy the show. There was time afterwards where the audience was invited to take photos of the stage and you could go onto the stage as well. I would highly recommend this event, it is a taste of history.

The puppet show doesn't start until 5:30. You advised to be there by 4:50. There was no presentation by the venue about the puppet history nor how they were made. We wasted 40 min just waiting and sitting with nothing to do. I would not recommend this
